On Friday Feb 6th, the Club took part in the Flesk Mini Region Indoor Soccer Finals in Castleisland.
Only an Under 15 boys Competition was held with the Killeentierna U15 & u18 Girls Teams and U18 Boys Teams getting a bye to the County Finals as no other Club in the Region had teams in these age Groups.
Our u15 Boys played Brosna in the Semi Final and put up a great display against a well Drilled Brosna Team and ran out winners on a 3-0 scoreline.
In the Final we faced Cordal, and after an exciting high scoring game Killeentierna ran out winners on a score of 5-3.
The Killeentierna Team was: Paric O’Connor, Shay Walsh, Sean Brosnan, Ben Cooney, Josh Horan, Shane Fagan and Tommy O’Regan.
